Today we finally reveal the final life-changing habits you should (at least in my opinion) try.

We’ve talked about meditation and how it helps you to be more grounded and connected with life around you.

We also talked about exercising and how a little bit of movement can do wonders for both your mental and physical health.

Now it’s time for my favourite habit, the one I decided to build my life around.

The one and only… Writing.

There are thousands of reasons why I love to write and why I think you would benefit from it too.

I talked about it before.

Writing does wonders for your brain. It crystallizes your thoughts on paper and lets you come back to them again and again.

In a way, through writing, you’re learning about yourself and your thought patterns.

It helps you slow down and focus.

It’s also a wonderful tool to help you achieve any goal you set.

I always struggled with achieving the things I set for.

Somehow, there was always a point where I broke and felt crushed by the size of the task I wanted to achieve.

It didn’t see any progress and I didn’t feel like pushing myself.

I got discouraged and end up giving up over and over again.

But I found a way out.

It was… you guessed it, writing down my goals. But in a very specific fashion.

Now, whenever I plan on doing something I break it down into the smallest manageable steps and write them down in a journal.

Then, every time I decide to work towards a set goal I focus on just one tiny, manageable step at a time.

Even if it’s the first of fifty other steps, I try to completely ignore the other 49.

And let me tell you, it works like charm.

Probably because doing just one step is a lot easier than running 10km.

And your brain actually believes you can do it.

I mean it’s easy to do just one step, isn’t it?

The same happens with the 2nd step… the 3rd one… and so on and on until you suddenly realize you’ve gone further than you’ve thought possible.

So here’s a challenge for you.

Pick any goal you’re trying to achieve right now and break it down into at least 10 steps. Write them all down and then focus on one step at a time.

One brick at a time.

You’ll be amazed how much you can achieve when you stop stressing over the big picture and start taking small steps.

I hope you’ll find that useful in your life.
